The installation of an LC, SC, or ST® Compatible Connector can be completed in approximately 45 seconds using the UniCam High-Performance Tool Kit. This lightweight, handheld installation tool and the high-performance cleaver effectively eliminate human variability from the installation process, ensuring accurate terminations every time.

The UniCam High-Performance Tool Kit has been designed with the network installer in mind. The cleaver features an integrated fiber scrap bin and a dual-clamp precision hold, while the installation tool provides immediate go/no-go feedback, making the installation process as simple as strip, clean, cleave, cam, and crimp, with exceptional optical performance guaranteed.

Each UniCam Connector is backed by a guarantee that it will meet the published specification at the time of installation. If a connector fails to meet these specifications, Corning Cable Systems will replace it.
